Last entry

Hi everyone, hope you’re doing fine!!

First of all, it was one of the most fun classes of the semester, I learned a lot and thanks to Lic Orlando for everything he taught us! I hope he continues teaching others!!

My group was one of the last to present, we talked about the city places, did activities focused on listening, everyone participated and we went over a lot!

Cindy's group, they were also a lot of fun, we went over "there is/there are", we played games and learned a lot about it, it was fun!

You all did a great job, enjoy your hollidays!!!! 馃コ馃帗

Blog 4 period 3

Hi, everyone, welcome to my blog, I hope you’re doing great!!!

Last week we continued with the presentations, we had two groups and they all did well.

1. Marvin’s group

They talked about the places in the city, we started refreshing vocabulary, then we did a Kahoot, we did other activities such as a crossword puzzle, then a drawing game and finally describing places in the city, it was quite fun and dynamic.

all these activities helped us to improve vocabulary, definitions of each place in the city, as well as writing and pronunciation.

2. Madeline’s group

“There is"

There is is used when we are talking about the existence of a singular item or person.

It’s contraction is: there’s

  • Example: There ‘s a computer on the table.”

"There are"

There are is used when we are talking about the existence of multiple items or people.

You cannot contract there are.

  • Example: There are four books on the shelf.”

We learned how to create affirmative sentences, negative sentences and interrogative sentences. After class, we played a game with there is and there are, trying to make sentences with the subject of the lesson!!!

That’s it, thank you very much!! Take care!!⭐️馃拹
